Phase 4: Cabinetry & Sleeping Systems

With the shell insulated, wired, and finished (Phases 1–3), Phase 4 adds the cabinetry and bed systems that turn a finished shell into a livable van — storage, galley cabinets, and a bed platform sized to how the van will actually be used.

What's included in this phase

  • Overhead cabinets — squared overhead storage cabinets, including a lightweight "Aero" option, in prefinished maple or bamboo.
  • Bed systems — a Universal Bed System and Dinette Bed System (convertible to a dinette/seating layout), plus a space-saving Murphy Bed System for builds prioritizing floor space.

Bed system choice is largely a floor-plan decision made earlier in the build — confirm fixed vs. convertible seating needs before finalizing cabinetry placement.
