Refund policy

 

Thank you for shopping at The Van Mart. We want to ensure your satisfaction with our products, and we have established the following policy to handle refunds and returns fairly and professionally.

  1. Return Eligibility and Timeframe:
    Our policy allows for returns within 30 days of the purchase date. If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, we regret to inform you that we cannot offer a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition as when you received it, and in its original packaging.
  2. Restocking Fee:
    All returns will incur a restocking fee of 20%. However, if the product is not returned in a new, unused condition or if it is not in its original packaging, the restocking fee may vary.
  3. Third Party Products:                                                                                                                      Our policy allows for returns within 30 days of the purchase date as long as it matches the third parties' policy of the product you purchased. If your product falls in between these guidelines all product must be unused, in the original packaging & sent to the address of the third party to process the return. Issue of refund will be sent after third party inspects & agrees it falls within their return policy & guidelines.
  4. PayPal Returns:
    For returns processed through PayPal, a return fee of 3.5% will be deducted from the refund amount.
  5. Non-Returnable Items:
    Certain items are non-returnable, including gift cards and downloadable software products.
  6. Return Process:
    To initiate a return, please provide a receipt or proof of purchase. Do not send the product back to the manufacturer. Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and send you an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
  7. Refund Processing:
    If your return is approved, we will process your refund and apply it to your original payment method or credit card. Please allow a certain amount of time for the refund to be reflected in your account.
  8. Partial Refunds:
    In certain situations, we may grant partial refunds. This applies to items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons unrelated to our error. Additionally, items returned after 30 days of delivery are eligible for partial refunds.
  9. Late or Missing Refunds:
    If you have not received your refund, we recommend checking your bank account and contacting your credit card company for any pending refunds. Refunds may take some time to process. If you still haven't received your refund, please contact us at support@thevanmart.com for further assistance.
  10. Sale Items:
    Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Unfortunately, sale items are non-refundable.
  11. Exchanges:
    We offer exchanges only for defective or damaged items. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please email us at support@thevanmart.com and return the item to the following address: The Van Mart 15192 Goldenwest Circle, Westminster, CA 92683. Please note that we require the return of the original product before sending a replacement.
  12. Gifts:
    If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of the return. Once we receive the returned item, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item was not marked as a gift or if the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves, a refund will be issued to the gift giver.

  14. Return Shipping Costs:                                                                                         You are responsible for covering the shipping costs for returning the item. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund amount.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items valued over $75, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
