Roof Rail System

Once I was completely comfortable with what I was supposed to do, the install was a snap. I used a different technique to remove the factory "caps," and I suggest the same to others. I used pliers to break the caps from the underside, and then used a thin tipped flat-head screwdriver to unseat the top side from the sealant. The razor blade option suggested was much more difficult, and it could easily scratch more of the paint than necessary. I also did drill the ends, and used nut-certs to lock them down. I am comfortable that I can use every square inch of the rails going forward. Good product, straight-forward install, and reasonably priced. Now I just wish the rest of my wish list wasn't MB premium priced.....
